Roger Wilson NHA

My name is Roger Wilson NHA, I grew up in Northern New Jersey and attended college in western Pennsylvania, Clarion University. Here I studied History and Secondary Education. Upon my graduation, I accepted a position as a teacher in Hampton Virginia. After working here for a few years, I decided I wanted to take a different path and moved back to Pennsylvania and became a mortgage broker. A few years later, I took a position with a leading provider of environmental and dietary services as the Regional Director. In this role I sold and led a team of district managers that were responsible for managing over one hundred nursing homes in a three-state geography. I found my passion to serve the senior population in the long-term care setting. I went back to school to obtain my Federal and State License as a Nursing Home Administrators in 2015. I became an active member in the Pennsylvania Culture Change Coalition to work on making Nursing Homes more homelike in nature. In 2022 my family and I got tired of the cold weather in Pennsylvania and made the decision to move back to the Tidewater area. July, I met Dr. Victor Archie and we discussed a similar vision on how to take a different path in providing care to the senior population. I find great joy in helping the greatest generation live out the best years of their life.
